《凯兰迪亚传奇3：玛尔寇的复仇》的主角是前两部中的坏蛋玛尔寇。游戏是站在玛尔寇的角度来谈凯兰迪亚的故事，想用这种方式说明“好人不一定是完人，而坏人也不一定是十恶不赦”的道理。
在对话上，为玛尔寇精心设计出老实、正常或说谎的对话指标，让小朋友玩家也能辨别好坏。这个游戏在画面、音乐和音效方面都比前两集有所进步。最后游戏结束时的工作人员名单也很有看头，不可错过。
